Overwhelming volunteer response at Eastside Projects
This is a big public ‘thanks’ to everyone that came along to Eastside Projects last night for our new volunteers event/meeting/coffee and doughnuts/induction session. The response was fantastic, and there were a lot of promising applicants from all sorts of disciplines: fine art, architecture, design, literature, independent publishing… The thought that Eastside Projects can serve as a hub for all these practitioners to meet in the city and add to the culture scene in new and interesting ways is very exciting. We’ll be in touch with everyone soon, but in the meantime, for those wanting to tap into the gallery’s activities immediately, check out Extra Special People. Think big!
