Discussion | Studios – Is there a need for permanence? 27 March 6.30-8pm Eastside Projects

Niki Russell, artist and founding member of Nottingham’s new studio development Primary, along with current studio holder, Yelena Popova, introduce the project. The discussion will consider why permanent, sustainable spaces for art production are important, what impact facilities like this have on a city’s arts ecology, how artists can work together to develop their own workspace and what Birmingham can learn from this model.
