Craftspace – Routes to new Roots exhibition
An exhibition of textiles and metal collage made by refugee and newly arrived women in Birmingham. Working with professional artists Nicola Griffiths, Ruth Singer and Melanie Tomlinson they created pieces exploring the theme of journeys.

Explore migration – journeys made by birds and flower seeds – by making metal collages.
Wednesday 26 May, Textile flowers with Ruth Singer
Have a go at making flower brooches using recycled fabrics, leather and other materials, including traditional and contemporary techniques.
Workshops will be held from 2.30–4.30pm in the De Bermingham Room at St. Martin in the Bull Ring.
