Curtain Show at Eastside Projects

Following Liam Gillick’s Two Short Plays and what’s been a seven-week install period Eastside Projects re-opens next Friday, 12 March, 6-9pm: Curtain Show revolves around Lilly Reich’s Silk and Velvet Cafe at the Women’s Fashion Exhibition in Berlin, in 1927 (pictured above), and features curtain works by international artists including Tacita Dean, Douglas Gordon and Grace Ndiritu. After the launch night the exhibition runs until Saturday 17 April. Eastside Projects is open Thursday 12-6.30pm, and Friday to Saturday 12-5pm, admission is free.
Erik Satie’s Furniture Music will be playing in the space throughout Curtain Show so, when you hear the sound of the French avant-garde on Heath Mill Lane, it’s prime time to step into Eastside Projects.
